Help keep the boots moving
Support can help with the practical reality of a long self-supported walk — from everyday essentials to reliable equipment.

Where the money goes
Support arrives through PayPal’s own website — the payment is handled there, not here. Money supports the walk itself first:
- Food and everyday essentials
- Campsite fees, when wild camping isn’t possible
- Replacing worn-out or broken kit
- Charging and power
- Safety contingencies
Only money left over after the walk may go to a stroke-related cause — possibly a stroke charity or Felix Holt Ward. No beneficiary has been chosen.
The practical things
Food & essentials
Meals and everyday supplies to keep me going.
Campsites
A paid pitch when lawful free camping isn’t possible.
Charging & power
Keeping navigation and communication powered.
Replacement kit
Dealing with equipment that wears out or breaks.
Emergencies
A buffer for unexpected safety needs along the way.

Monthly financial updates
Monthly summaries will be published here once verified records are available — not estimated from clicks or messages.
No verified monthly updates yet
There are no published financial records here yet. This does not mean no support or spending has occurred; the actual figures are not available.
Each future report will cover the month, opening balance, support received, dated expenses and their plain-English purposes, closing balance, and any notes or corrections. Only approximate areas will be shared, never private campsite details.
How records will be kept
- Every walk expense will be logged with a date, amount and a plain-English purpose, and published in the ledger.
- Supporters won’t be named publicly without their permission. Personal details are never shown on the site.
- Ledger entries won’t reveal exact locations — campsite costs, for example, will name a rough area at most.
- Final figures, and where any surplus went, will be published after the walk.
Thank you for being part of it
Whether you’re considering practical help, sending encouragement or simply following along — thank you. It means a lot to have people interested in the walk and the stroke-awareness story behind it.
A general thank-you, not a receipt or confirmation of payment.
Recognition is your choice
If you’d like a public thank-you, contact me and explicitly say what name, if any, you give permission to publish. There’s no automatic listing; no supporter names will appear without permission. You’re welcome to stay anonymous.
The contact form is still preview-only and does not send messages. Use the direct email on the Contact page to discuss recognition.
